We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house, the accommodations were nice and comfortable as well , we especially enjoyed drinking coffee while we sat on the swings at the boat dock in the mornings . The weather was great. It was a wonderful place to get away and relax and enjoy some fishing as well.

We rented Peaceful Haven to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday with a fishing trip. We all had a wonderful time and made lots of memories!!! Fishing, boating, laughing, eating – all the great stuff getaways are made of. Beautiful home with everything you need available!!! Can’t wait to come back again!!!

Great weekend with the family. Property was clean and well stocked with everything you needed. I liked the fact that they allowed us to clean the house when leaving. This saved us an additional cleaning fee that was not necessary.

This house was in a good location, very clean and just overall very well kept. Enjoyed our time there. Would strongly recommend to others as well as stay there again.

Had a wonderful time. Will be staying here again.

My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend at Peaceful Haven. The house was delightful with a pretty interior, and a very nice dock. We plan to return soon.

Everything was great about the property. It is at the end of a little slough so there is no boat traffic running by the dock. Water was plenty deep for my 19 foot boat. The house is more of a home than an average rental. Very comfortable environs. Cassie was very attentive and diligent in returning messages and answering questions. It is in the country and the house does not have WiFi, so be prepared for no internet and intermittent cell service through Verizon.

Think Walden Pond in southwest Georgia. We never heard the neighbors and the lake traffic was rhythmic but respectful (can’t hear it from inside the house). The spacious interior looked new and well kept. The kitchen had all the essentials and the tv room was comfortable. We ate in so many places: dining area, near the window, outside on the deck, outside on the Adirondacks, outside on the dock’s swing. A covered garage provides shelter from the rain. The jasmine just outside the bedroom was a perfumery of sweetness. Loved the days we spent there and enjoyed visiting Bainbridge (30 minutes away where we did our shopping and restaurant dining).

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic weekend getaway! The cabin is cozy and private with great views of the lake and surrounding nature. We had a great time at all the surrounding state parks which were all within an hour, Seminole being only minutes. We caught bass from the dock and used the canoe early in the morning to enjoy the lake. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape into Southern Georgia!

Truly lives up to its name for our women’ retreat. There was so much room for us to all be together and enjoy each other. Bedrooms are comfy, equipped well in the kitchen. Lovely luncheon with dishes from the house with the lake shining in front of us. Also had lazy time on the large dock swinging in the hammock. This is a beautiful place for family gatherings, weddings or any large group to enjoy time together. Plenty of room for your boat at the dock, or canoe or just chill and enjoy the still waters.

The house was clean, inviting and the owners helped made it easy to find and access. Nothing was a surprise, so everything listed online is exactly how I found it to be, which is a relief.

The lake and property is very peaceful, rest-filled and beautiful! If you enjoy being outdoors, or just need a place to retreat to, then I definitely recommend this rental. There’s a State Park not far and plenty of canoeing/boating and fishing available on the Lake. My favorite was just sitting in the hammock by the water, bundled up and enjoying a good book and retreating to the house at night to enjoy a good movie.

The owners did a great job of communicating expectations, directions and what’s available. 2 thumbs up!

We had a fantastic time at Peaceful Haven. There were a total of 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 kids so the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths worked out great. The house was clean, roomy and very comfortable as if it was your own home. Our favorite was the huge backyard on the lake and dock which was perfect for the kids to fish from. There was a canoe and bikes we could use also, so there was plenty to do if you didn’t want to fish. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great labor day weekend!

We enjoyed our stay at Peaceful Haven so much. It is so very quiet and definitely peaceful. The home is very nice and well decorated. It’s everything you need for a quiet getaway. The covered dock is very nice and I was able to fish right off the dock. It is close to the park both by water and road. The hot tub was very nice and relaxing. We definitely hope to return soon.

We had a fabulous time at “Peaceful Haven.” It was just that…peaceful. The house was clean and very comfortable with more than enough room for my husband and myself. Even though we chose to visit at the worst fishing time possible (water was 88-90 degrees), we enjoyed relaxing, boating and the quiet at night. We did have difficulties getting our boat into and fishing from the boathouse due to all the vegetation in the water, but I guess it’s that time of year. We hope to visit again in the spring….maybe the fishing will be better 🙂 One extra perk was a little gray kitty who came to visit every time we went out in the boat and when we returned…what a sweetie.

We stayed in this house in June (2008) for a family retreat. The home was perfect for adults and kids. The hot tub was a great extra and a nice way to end the day. This home was very peaceful and inviting. We plan to return again.

Your home was absolutely perfect! Our family was able to meet at this location and enjoy a long Holiday weekend of total relaxation. We loved the home itself because it was so welcoming and everything we needed to cook a full Thanksgiving meal was there! The property was amazing – sunsets from your dock was breathtaking. The weather was gorgeous – we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. Your home was a Blessing for us this Thanksgiving and we thank you very much!! We hope to make this an annual trip!

What a perfect name for this house!!!

My husband and I like to get away as often as we can to relax and this was by far, the most relaxing weekend ever!!! The house was beautiful. It is decorated very nice and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The covered boat dock came in handy as we took our boat to enjoy the beautiful lake. With everything provided, hot tub, hammock, canoe, bikes, swings, etc. we had a wonderfully relaxing weekend!!! Thanks Cassie & Buz!!! We will definately be back!

We have stayed at this location twice in the last two years and each time it gets better. The home is very cozy and relaxing and equipped with all you will need for your stay. The yard and the dock are perfect for relaxing and listening to the birds or taking a nice nap. You can dock your boat and have easy access to the lake from this location. We have stayed at numerous locations on Lake Seminole and this one is without a doubt our favorite. The price is awesome and the owners are great people. You will not be disappointed!

We have already reserved our second week in this house. It is definitely heaven on earth… So relaxing, great lake access, peaceful, safe mooring for a boat, wonderful fishing, and a beautiful house…. and the hammock on a rainy afternoon was the Greatest!!! I would recommend this house to anyone who was planning a trip to the lake…
